Frequently Asked Questions

What medium do you paint in?

I use professional quality acrylic paints and varnish with UV protection. I take time to prep each surface (canvas. board, etc) making it archival. This adds to the longevity of the artwork as well as vibrant colors since professional paints carry the highest pigment load.

Can I preview art on my wall?

Yes! If you’d like to be sure of how a piece will look, email photos of your space including the wall and surrounding décor/furniture to .

Take one photo directly in front of the wall and another from an angle. Please provide the width of a nearby piece of furniture or object.

I’ll mock-up the painting onto your wall so you can preview it in your room!

Is artwork ready to hang?

Most often, yes. Each listing will say if a piece is ready to hang, Paintings on canvas, cradled panel or framed paintings are ready to hang. Unframed paintings on flat panel or paper are not.

What do you mean by “panel”?

Some paintings have been painted on artist-grade wood panels (boards) made from high-quality birch or aspen, and sealed and gessoed for longevity. Flat panels are either 1/8″ or 1/4″ thick. Cradled panels have a wood riser that pushes them out from the wall like a canvas. Most of my cradled panels are 1.75″ deep.

What currency are the prices?

Prices on this website are listed in Canadian dollars.
