100 day art challenge

Some artists will finish an artwork every day. Others may be into studies or explorations such as trying new colour palettes, sketches or mark making. Choose something you're excited about, and let go of perfection. Find the sweet spot of being challenged, but not so much you want to quit! Keeping things SMALL can help.

Yes. It's just about making art, daily. That could be drawing, painting, knitting, pottery, whatever it is for you. It's about allowing your creativity to flow consistently, and seeing where it takes you. Over a period of 100 days, you will likely see positive change in your work, and that's exciting!

Everyone will be encouraged to share each other's work in Instagram Stories. Do this when your schedule allows... maybe share a few artists each time. The more you share, the more likely you are to get shared! Always type in the artist's handle (@profilename) in the Story so viewers can tap through to their profile. It's a supportive way for all of us to get new eyes on our work.

Yes, the challenge is free! There are so many benefits to having a daily art practice and being part of the group dynamic. We want you to join, show up, and be encouraged to create and share!

Yes, you can start later than April 1, and continue for 100 days. You will miss getting shared in other artists' Stories, past the date when the group has finished. For example, if you start 7 days later than the group, then your last 7 days may not include sharing, as the other artists will be done.
